School based teams will be engaged in interactive virtual or face to face professional development on creating safe and supportive learning environments for all. Teams will be provided with customized professional learning on topics such as effectively implementing a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS), trauma informed practices, social and emotional learning, self care and culturally responsive practices.

Qualitative and quantitative data will be collected to determine strengths and opportunities for growth of systems designed to support the needs of students. Teams will be engaged in identifying goals and creating action plans.

Teams will be engaged in dynamic coaching sessions to collaboratively identify goals related to strengthening systems to support the needs of students. Shared goals and action plans will be identified based upon current data and needs.

Creating a trauma informed, safe and supportive learning environment requires engagement of all stakeholders. Community learning sessions on topics such as trauma awareness and responsiveness, parenting, and social and emotional learning will be developed and customized to the needs of your community.

Youth/Teen Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or who is in crisis. Adults and young people may engage in trauma-informed, accessible yoga classes and meditation practices. Schools, Districts, or organization may participate in wellness workshops and professional development focused upon integrating researched-based and CASEL aligned social-emotional learning practices into instruction.
